A frustrated mother struggled to find new things to keep her insatiably inquisitive child stimulated.

One day she had an epiphany:

surely if she were to get him one of those gadgets,

he would be entertained in a constructive

fashion for at least a year.

So off she went and found the best computer she could. (It was a Commodore Vic20 with a cassette drive)

Well, her idea did in fact succeed.... in part. For you see... it was only a matter of weeks

before her ever grateful child looked up at her with hunger in his eyes and growled low in his throat: "I need something faster!", for already he had exhausted the machine's potential, as the Techno-Spark had caught fire in this youngling.
